Barry Jenner Biography
Barry Francis Jenner (January 14, 1941 – August 9, 2016) was an American actor known for his roles in both stage and television productions. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jenner began his acting career during his college years at West Chester University. He later moved to New York City where he appeared in various plays, including Club Champion’s Widow and Put Them All Together. Jenner was a founding member of the Whole Theatre Company and received critical acclaim for his performances in plays like Long Day’s Journey Into Night and Yanks 3, Detroit 0, Top of the Seventh. In addition to his acting career, Jenner served as a reserve officer for the Los Angeles Police Department for 21 years. He also had roles on the daytime programs Somerset and Another World.
