Barry Keoghan is an Irish actor born on October 18, 1992. He has gained recognition for his versatile roles in both independent and blockbuster films. Some of his notable early film appearances include '71 (2014), Mammal (2016), and Trespass Against Us (2016). Keoghan received critical acclaim in 2017 for his performances in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk and Yorgos Lanthimos's The Killing of a Sacred Deer, earning him an Independent Spirit Award nomination. He further showcased his talent in American Animals (2018), Calm with Horses (2019), and The Green Knight (2021). In 2021, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Druig in the film Eternals. Keoghan's exceptional acting skills were recognized with a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor and nominations for the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2022 for his role in Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin.
