Barry Pearl Biography
Barry Lee Pearl (born March 29, 1950) is an American actor best known for his role as 'Doody' in the 1978 film Grease. He also had a cameo in the Grease: Live television special in 2016. Pearl played 'Professor Tinkerputt' in the primetime special Barney's Imagination Island and the US tour of Barney's Big Surprise. He appeared in an episode of Disney Channel's Even Stevens. Pearl began his career on Broadway, replacing Johnny Borden as 'Randolph MaAfee' in Bye Bye Birdie in 1961. His other Broadway credits include Oliver!, A Teaspoon Every Four Hours, The Producers, Lenny's Back, and Baby It's You!. He has also appeared in the Lionsgate release The Newest Pledge and starred as 'Arnold' in the national tour of Happy Days - A New Musical.
