Barry Rothbart is an American comedian, actor, and writer. Born on May 25, 1983, in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, he is of Jewish descent. Rothbart gained recognition as one of Variety magazine's '10 Comics to Watch' in 2013. He made his film debut in the 2013 hit movie 'The Wolf of Wall Street,' where he portrayed the character Peter Deblasio. Additionally, he appeared on ABC's 'Downward Dog' as Kevin and currently stars in Showtime's 'Kidding.' Rothbart began his career in stand-up comedy while attending the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Today, he splits his time between Los Angeles and New York City.
