Barry Tubb Biography
Barry York Tubb (born February 13, 1963) is an American actor and director, known for his work in both television and film. Born in Snyder, Texas, Tubb won the state bull-riding championship in the junior division at the age of 15. After graduating from Snyder High School in 1981, he received stage training in San Francisco before moving to Hollywood in the mid-1980s to pursue his acting career. Tubb earned a regular role on the series Bay City Blues and appeared as a rookie police officer on Hill Street Blues. His notable film appearances include Consenting Adult, Billionaire Boys Club, and his most popular role as Jasper Fant in the Westerns Lonesome Dove and Return to Lonesome Dove.
