Bear Grylls
Bear Grylls, born Edward Michael Grylls on June 7, 1974, is a British adventurer and television presenter. He gained recognition through his numerous adventures and became widely known for his television series Man vs. Wild (2006–2011). Grylls is also involved in various wilderness survival television shows in the UK and US, such as Running Wild with Bear Grylls and The Island with Bear Grylls. In July 2009, he became the youngest-ever Chief Scout of the United Kingdom and Overseas Territories for The Scout Association at the age of 35. Grylls was born in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, and later moved to Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. He is the son of Conservative politician Sir Michael Grylls.
