Beatie Edney is an English television actress, born on October 23, 1962, in London. She comes from a talented family, with her mother being actress Sylvia Syms and her father Alan Edney. Edney gained recognition for her role as Heather MacLeod in the 1986 film Highlander and reprised the character in the 2000 film Highlander: Endgame. She also portrayed the title role in the television production of The Dark Angel in 1987 alongside Peter O'Toole. Edney has appeared in various successful British television dramas such as Lost Empires, Rosemary & Thyme, A Touch of Frost, Prime Suspect, and Inspector Morse.
