Beck David Hansen, known mononymously as Beck, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on July 8, 1970, in Los Angeles, California, Beck rose to fame in the early 1990s with his experimental and lo-fi musical style. He is known for his ability to seamlessly blend a wide range of genres, including folk, funk, soul, hip hop, electronic, alternative rock, country, and psychedelia. Throughout his career, he has released 14 studio albums, including the critically acclaimed 'Mellow Gold' and 'Odelay'. Beck gained worldwide recognition with his breakthrough single 'Loser' in 1994.
