Becky Gulsvig, born Rebecca Lynn Gulsvig on August 25, 1982, is an American stage actress. Hailing from Moorhead, Minnesota, Gulsvig attended Moorhead High School, Trollwood Performing Arts School, and the Red River Dance and Performing Company. She made her debut as Wendy in a touring production of Peter Pan. On Broadway, Gulsvig portrayed Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray and originated the role of Leilani in Legally Blonde the Musical, also understudying the roles of Elle Woods, Serena, and Margot. In addition, she appeared in a Verizon commercial. Gulsvig's notable role was starring as Elle Woods in the North American national tour of Legally Blonde the Musical, earning her a nomination for the 2009 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Non-Resident Production.
