Ben Ashenden

Ben Ashenden is a British-Irish actor, writer, and comedian. He is best known as one half of the double-act, The Pin, alongside Alexander Owen. Together, they have created four series for BBC Radio 4, earning nominations at the 2017 Writers' Guild Awards and Radio Academy Awards. They won the BBC Radio Award for Best Comedy. Ashenden was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, and grew up in Radlett. He attended Haberdashers' Aske's School for Boys before studying English Literature at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Ashenden met his comedy partner, Alexander Owen, while studying at the University of Cambridge, and they went on to perform with the Cambridge Footlights troupe, touring America in a show directed by Liam Williams and Daran Johnson.
