Ben Batt Biography
Ben Batt is an English actor born on February 7, 1986. He gained recognition for his role as Joe Pritchard in the comedy drama Shameless on Channel 4. Ben has appeared in several other TV shows including Scott & Bailey as DC Kevin Lumb, The Village as Alf Rutter, and Sirens as Craig Scruton. He also played Ted Burgess in the BBC production of The Go-Between. In the film Weekender, set in the late 1980s rave culture, he portrayed the antagonist John Anderson. Ben has had smaller roles in various productions such as Captain America: The First Avenger, The Promise, and Jamestown. He also starred as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire.
