Ben Caplan

Ben Caplan is a Canadian folk musician and singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He gained recognition for his powerful and soulful voice, often performing with his band The Casual Smokers. Caplan's music blends folk, blues, and rock elements, and he has released several acclaimed albums including 'In the Time of the Great Remembering' (2011), 'Birds With Broken Wings' (2015), 'Old Stock' (2018), and 'recollection (reimagined)' (2021). Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Caplan began playing guitar at 13 and pursued a career in music after completing his studies at the University of King's College. Since 2006, he has been actively touring and captivating audiences with his captivating performances.
