Ben Carlson is a Canadian actor known for his stage roles at the Stratford Festival. He has won several awards for his performances, including a Canadian Screen Award for his role in the CBC Presents the Stratford Festival adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. Carlson has been nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Best Actor in a Play and won a Jeff Award for his portrayal of Hamlet at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. Some of his notable appearances include playing David Cameron in The Audience, Walter Shirley in Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning, and Wiley in the film My Dog Vincent. He is the son of actors Leslie Carlson and Patricia Hamilton and is married to stage actress Deborah Hay.
