Esler is also a writer and cast member of the upcoming series A Small Light, which focuses on the story of Miep Gies, who protected Anne Frank and her family during the Shoah. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, he graduated from the University of Melbourne with a master's degree in Applied Ethics.
