Ben Kruger

Ben Kruger (25 March 1957 – 26 May 2021) was a South African actor and author. He gained recognition for his roles in the popular serials Snake Island, Binnelanders, and Zero Tolerance. Born in Bothaville, South Africa, Kruger moved to Cape Town at the age of two and later settled in Johannesburg. He attended Helpmekaar Boys' High School before serving in the South African Navy for 18 months. Following his military service, Kruger obtained a BA in Drama from the University of Pretoria. Starting his career in theater, he also appeared in radio plays and advertisements. On 26 May 2021, Kruger passed away at the age of 64 due to COVID-19 complications.
