Ben Powers Biography
Ben Powers, born Alton Adelbert Powers on July 5, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York City, was an American actor known for his role as Keith Albert Anderson on the CBS sitcom Good Times during its final season. He also appeared as a cast member on the NBC comedy series Laugh-In. Powers began his career in the 1970s at the Trinity Repertory Theater in Providence, Rhode Island, where he also attended the Rhode Island School of Design. In addition to his acting work, Powers was a stand-up comedian, impressionist, and singer. He was discovered by a Hollywood agent in Providence, which led to movie roles and performances at Playboy clubs. Powers passed away at the age of 64 on April 6, 2015, due to liver cancer.
