Ben Schnetzer is an American actor, known for his performances in both film and television. Born and raised in New York City, he comes from a family of actors, with his parents being Stephen Schnetzer and Nancy Snyder. After completing his education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Schnetzer began making a name for himself in the industry. He appeared in an episode of Law & Order and had a supporting role in the ABC series Happy Town. Schnetzer gained recognition for his superb mastery of accents in British films, including his role as Max Vandenburg in The Book Thief (2013), and as activist Mark Ashton in Pride (2014), for which he received critical acclaim and two British Independent Film Award nominations.
