Ben Younger (born October 7, 1972) is an American screenwriter and film director. Raised in a Modern Orthodox Jewish household in Brooklyn, Younger attended a yeshiva before studying political science at Queens College. He began his career in politics as a policy analyst for the New York City comptroller's office and later managed a State Assembly campaign. However, Younger became disenchanted with politics and turned to filmmaking. He wrote and directed the short film 'L & M' before making his feature film debut with 'Boiler Room' in 2000. Younger is known for his work on films such as 'Prime' (2005) and 'Bleed for This' (2016).
