    Benjamin Busch Biography
    Benjamin Busch is an American actor, writer, filmmaker, photographer, and United States Marine Corps Reserve officer. He was born in December 1968 in Manhattan and grew up in Poolville, New York. Busch attended Vassar College, where he graduated with a major in Studio Art. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1992 and served as an active duty officer until 1996. After resigning from active duty, he continued to serve in the Marine Forces Reserve. In 1997, Busch started his acting career, appearing in TV shows such as Party of Five, Homicide: Life on the Street, and The West Wing. He gained recognition for his role as Officer Anthony Colicchio on the HBO series The Wire, appearing in the final three seasons of the show. Busch also served two tours of duty in Iraq with the 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion.
