Benjamin Charles Watson

Benjamin Charles Watson, also known as Ben Watson, is a Canadian actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Dontae Evans in season three of the popular television show Designated Survivor. Additionally, Watson garnered attention for his compelling performance in the web series I Am Syd Stone. Originally from Jamaica, he relocated to Toronto, Ontario with his family when he was ten years old. Prior to his breakout roles, Watson appeared in various supporting roles in both film and television, notably in the television drama series Soul. In 2019, he publicly announced that he identifies as queer. Watson was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Performance in a Web Program or Series for his work on I Am Syd Stone in 2022.
