Benjamin Hendrickson Biography
Benjamin Hendrickson (August 26, 1950 – July 3, 2006) was an American actor known for his role as Harold 'Hal' Munson Jr., the Chief of Detectives on the soap opera As the World Turns. Born in Huntington, New York, he studied at the Juilliard School and was a founding member of John Houseman's The Acting Company. Hendrickson had a successful career in theatre, appearing in productions such as The Elephant Man and Awake and Sing. He also acted in feature films, originating the role of Frederick Chilton in the 1986 film Manhunter. Hendrickson's talent and versatility made him a respected figure in the industry.
