Benjamin Salisbury Biography
Benjamin David Salisbury is an American actor and dancer, born on October 19, 1980, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He gained recognition for his role as Brighton Sheffield on the CBS television sitcom The Nanny from 1993 to 1999. Salisbury graduated from Wayzata High School in Plymouth, Minnesota, in 1998, and later attended American University in Washington, D.C. Aside from his acting career, Salisbury is also an accomplished dancer, often treating The Nanny studio audiences to improvisational routines. He has appeared in several films, including Captain Ron (1992) and D3: The Mighty Ducks (1996). Salisbury also provided the voice for Tin Boy on The Oz Kids in 1996. In addition, he competed on Jeopardy! as a contestant in Teen Celebrity Jeopardy! and emerged as the winner.
