Bernard Hepton

Bernard Hepton (19 October 1925 – 27 July 2018) was an English theatre director and actor. He had a successful career in both stage and television. Born in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, Hepton trained at the Bradford Civic Playhouse and gained extensive experience in repertory theatre, particularly in Scarborough and York. In 1952, he joined Birmingham Rep and later became the artistic director in 1957. Hepton is best known for his television roles in teleplays and series, as well as brief appearances in radio and film. Throughout his career, he showcased his talent and versatility as an actor and director.
