Bernie Ecclestone

Bernard Charles Ecclestone, born on October 28, 1930, is a British business magnate and former chief executive of the Formula One Group. He gained recognition as the 'F1 Supremo' due to his role in managing Formula One motor racing and controlling the commercial rights to the sport. Ecclestone started his career as a racing driver before transitioning to become a team owner and manager. In 1972, he purchased the Brabham team, which he successfully ran for 15 years. Ecclestone's control of the sport extended beyond financial aspects, as he also managed the administration, setup, and logistics of each Grand Prix. This allowed him to amass significant wealth, making him one of the wealthiest individuals in the United Kingdom.
