Bess Armstrong

Bess Armstrong is an American actress known for her roles in films such as The Four Seasons (1981), High Road to China (1983), Jaws 3-D (1983), and Nothing in Common (1986). She gained further recognition for her lead role in the ABC drama series My So-Called Life and has also appeared in several made-for-television films. Born on December 11, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland, Armstrong attended Bryn Mawr School for Girls and graduated from Brown University with degrees in Latin and Theater. She began her acting career in 1975 and has since appeared in numerous stage plays, showcasing her talent and versatility.
