Beulah Quo Biography
Beulah Quo (April 17, 1923 – October 23, 2002) was an American actress and activist known for her roles in films and television series starting in the mid-1950s. Born in Stockton, California, she was the only child of Chinese immigrant parents. Quo earned a bachelor's degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and a master's degree from the University of Chicago. In pursuit of equal representation for Asian actors, she founded several organizations and advocated for more diverse screen roles. Quo starred in notable productions such as General Hospital (1963), Chinatown (1974), and Brokedown Palace (1999). She passed away in 2002.
