Beverly Todd Biography
Beverly Todd (born July 11, 1946) is an American actress, producer, and writer. She is known for her roles in films such as Brother John (1971), Moving (1988), Lean on Me (1989), and The Bucket List (2007). On television, Todd appeared in Julie Farr, M.D. (1978−79), The Redd Foxx Show (1986), Six Feet Under (2002−03), and various soap operas including Love of Life (1968−70) and Days of Our Lives (2012). Since 2019, she has portrayed Beatrice Carter on the TV show 9-1-1. Todd has received four NAACP Image Award nominations. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Todd began her acting career in Off-Broadway productions and went on to perform in London. She continues to be an active figure in the entertainment industry.
