Biff Manard (c. 1943 – May 19, 2014) was an American actor known for his appearances in movies and TV shows. Born in either 1939 or 1943, according to certain sources, he had a long career in the industry. Manard made guest spots on popular TV shows and portrayed Officer Michael Francis Murphy on The Flash. However, he is most famous for his role as 'Hap' Ashby in the low-budget science-fiction adventure Trancers and its sequel. In 1985, he also appeared in the film Zone Troopers alongside Art LaFleur and Tim Thomerson. Manard passed away in 2014 at the age of 71 after a prolonged illness, although the specific cause of his death remains unknown.
