Bill Cobbs Biography
Bill Cobbs is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. Born on June 16, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, Cobbs has appeared in numerous films including 'The Hitter' (1979) as Louisiana Slim and 'The Brother from Another Planet' (1984) as Water. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Lewis Coleman in the TV series 'I'll Fly Away' (1991–1993) and as Jack on 'The Michael Richards Show' (2000). Cobbs has also made guest appearances on popular shows like 'Walker, Texas Ranger' and 'The Sopranos'. In 2020, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for his outstanding performance in the series 'Dino Dana'. Prior to his acting career, Cobbs served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in various jobs before pursuing acting.
