Bill Duke

Bill Duke, born William Henry Duke Jr. on February 26, 1943, is an American actor and film director. With his physically imposing frame, Duke has become known for his work in action and crime drama genres, often portraying characters related to law enforcement. He has appeared in notable films such as Commando, Predator, American Gigolo, No Man's Land, Bird on a Wire, Menace II Society, Exit Wounds, Payback, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Mandy. On television, Duke is best known for his role as Agent Percy Odell in Black Lightning. Additionally, he has directed episodes of popular shows like Cagney & Lacey, Dallas, Hill Street Blues, Miami Vice, and The Twilight Zone. Duke has also directed films such as Deep Cover, A Rage in Harlem, and Sister Act 2, earning him a nomination for a Palme d'Or.
