Bill Engvall

William Ray Engvall Jr., born on July 27, 1957, is an American retired stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. He gained popularity through his stand-up comedy albums, including the platinum-certified debut album 'Here's Your Sign'. Engvall is known for his signature routine 'here's your sign', where he humorously offers 'signs' to people he considers lacking in intellect. He has toured as a comedian both solo and as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White. Engvall has appeared in various television roles, such as Delta, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, The Bill Engvall Show, and Lingo. Born in Galveston, Texas, he is the son of a U.S. Navy doctor and later had a successful career in comedy and acting.
