Bill Heck is an American actor known for his work on stage, screen, and television. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and later moved to Libertyville, Illinois. After graduating from the University of Evansville, he pursued a graduate degree in acting at N.Y.U. Heck made his Broadway debut in the 2014 revival of Cabaret and has also appeared in off-Broadway productions such as Horton Foote's The Orphans' Home Cycle and Angels in America. On television, he has had guest roles in shows like The Alienist and The Leftovers. Heck's film credits include The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, in which he portrayed Billy Knapp. He received the Grand Jury Award for Best Actor at L.A. Outfest in 2013 for his performance in Pit Stop.
