Bill Oddie

Bill Oddie is an English actor, artist, birder, comedian, conservationist, musician, songwriter, television presenter, and writer. He gained fame as a member of the comedy trio The Goodies. Oddie has a passion for wildlife and is well-known for his work as a naturalist, conservationist, and presenter on wildlife issues. He has authored several books, some of which feature his own illustrations. Oddie's contributions to wildlife programming include hosting shows such as Springwatch, Autumnwatch, How to Watch Wildlife, Wild in Your Garden, Birding with Bill Oddie, Britain Goes Wild with Bill Oddie, and Bill Oddie Goes Wild. Born on 7 July 1941 in Rochdale, Lancashire, Oddie later moved to Birmingham. He received his education at Lapal Primary School and Halesowen Grammar School.
