Bill Smitrovich Biography
Bill Smitrovich, born William Stanley Zmitrowicz Jr. on May 16, 1947, is an American actor. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Anna and Stanley William Zmitrowicz. Smitrovich is of Polish descent and is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport (1972) and holds an MFA from Smith College (1976). He is married to Shaw Purnell and they have two children, Alexander John and Maya Christina. Smitrovich has appeared in several television series including Crime Story, where he played Det. Sgt. Danny Krychek, and Life Goes On, where he had a prominent role. He has also made guest appearances in Miami Vice and NYPD Blue.
