Bill Turnbull

Bill Turnbull (25 January 1956 – 31 August 2022) was a British television and radio presenter and journalist. He had a successful career in broadcasting that spanned over 4 decades. Turnbull started his career in radio, working for stations like Radio Clyde and BBC Radio 4's Today. He later went on to present BBC News 24 and BBC Radio 5 Live. However, he is best known for his role as one of the main presenters of BBC Breakfast, which he held for 15 years from 2001 to 2016. Turnbull also presented the religious series Songs of Praise and the game show Think Tank. In addition to his television work, he was a presenter on Classic FM, a popular radio station.
