Billy Bush (born October 13, 1971) is an American radio and television host. He gained recognition as a correspondent on Access Hollywood from 2001 to 2004, eventually becoming a primary anchor of the program in 2004. Additionally, Bush hosted The Billy Bush Show, a nationally syndicated talk and music radio show from 2008 to 2014. In 2016, he joined the Today Show as a co-host but was fired due to controversy surrounding a leaked 2005 Access Hollywood recording featuring a lewd conversation with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. Since 2019, Bush has been the host of the syndicated newsmagazine TV show Extra.
