Billy Crystal

Billy Crystal, born William Edward Crystal on March 14, 1948, is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker. Known for his standup comedy, Crystal has also made a mark in film and stage roles. He has received several prestigious awards, including six Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, and nominations for Grammy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. In 1991, Crystal was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He gained recognition for his roles on the ABC sitcom Soap from 1977 to 1981 and as a cast member and frequent host of Saturday Night Live from 1984 to 1985. Crystal has appeared in notable films such as The Princess Bride (1987), When Harry Met Sally... (1989), and City Slickers (1991).
