Billy Gibbons

Billy Gibbons is an American rock musician, born on December 16, 1949. He is best known as the guitarist and primary vocalist of ZZ Top. Before forming ZZ Top in 1969, Gibbons was a member of the Moving Sidewalks, who recorded Flash in 1969 and opened for the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Throughout his career, Gibbons has released several albums with ZZ Top, including ZZ Top's First Album in 1971. In addition to his work with the band, Gibbons has also pursued a solo career, releasing his first solo album Perfectamundo in 2015. He has made appearances with other artists and has acted on television shows, most notably in Bones. Rolling Stone named him the 32nd greatest guitarist of all time in 2001.
