Björn Ulvaeus is a Swedish songwriter, musician, and producer, best known as a member of the internationally successful pop group ABBA. Born on April 25, 1945, in Gothenburg, Sweden, Ulvaeus began his music career in the 1960s with various bands before forming ABBA with Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and Agnetha Fältskog in 1972. ABBA became one of the most popular and iconic pop groups of all time. Ulvaeus co-wrote many of ABBA's biggest hits, including 'Dancing Queen' and 'Mamma Mia.' After ABBA disbanded in 1982, Ulvaeus continued to work in the music industry as a producer and songwriter. He also co-wrote the musical 'Mamma Mia!', which premiered in 1999 and became a worldwide success. Ulvaeus remains a respected figure in the music industry and has made occasional appearances in TV shows and documentaries related to ABBA.
