Harold Elwin 'Bo' Bice Jr. (born November 1, 1975) is an American singer and musician who gained recognition as the runner-up on the fourth season of American Idol, competing against Carrie Underwood. Before auditioning for the show, Bice had already released a solo album and had been part of various bands, performing extensively on the night club circuit. His rendition of 'Inside Your Heaven' from American Idol reached the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005. Following the show, Bice released the album 'The Real Thing' with moderate success before parting ways with RCA Records. He later founded his own record label, Sugar Money, and released two more albums. From 2013 to 2018, Bice served as the lead singer of Blood, Sweat & Tears. Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Bice comes from a family of gospel singers, including his mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunts.
