Bo Derek, born Mary Cathleen Collins on November 20, 1956 in Long Beach, California, is an American actress and model. She gained fame for her breakout role in the romantic comedy film 10 (1979). Bo Derek has appeared in several other films including A Change of Seasons (1980), Fantasies, Tarzan, the Ape Man (both 1981), Bolero (1984), and Ghosts Can't Do It (1989). She was married to director John Derek until his death in 1998 and later married actor John Corbett in 2020. Bo Derek's parents divorced when she was young, and she grew up with two sisters and a brother. She attended Narbonne High School and George S. Patton Continuation School.
