Bob Bryar
Bob Bryar, born Robert Cory Bryar on December 31, 1979, is an American retired musician and sound engineer. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band My Chemical Romance. Bryar joined the band in 2004, replacing former drummer Matt Pelissier, shortly after the release of their second studio album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. He performed on all subsequent releases, including the commercially successful concept album, The Black Parade. Despite suffering numerous injuries while on tour, Bryar continued to tour with the band and contributed to their fourth studio album. In 2010, he departed from My Chemical Romance and made his last musical contribution on the band's final release, Conventional Weapons. Since then, Bryar has transitioned into a behind-the-scenes role in tours.
