Bob Dishy Biography
Bob Dishy is an American actor known for his work in stage, film, and television. He served in the U.S. Army in the late 1950s and won an All-Army Entertainment Contest, which led to his touring military bases in a show called Rolling Along in '57. Dishy is recognized for his roles in popular TV shows including Columbo, where he played Sergeant John J. Wilson, and The Golden Girls, where he portrayed Rose's love interest Mister Terrific. He also appeared in episodes of Frasier and Law & Order. In addition to his TV work, Dishy has appeared in numerous films, such as Lovers and Other Strangers, The Big Bus, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Don Juan DeMarco.
