Bob Kaliban (November 6, 1933 – December 12, 2020) was an American actor and musician best known for his role as the president of the New York branch of SAG-AFTRA. He began his career in the 1960s, moving to New York City to pursue his passion for performing arts and theater. Kaliban's notable roles include voicing the police chief in Top Cat and portraying the sales pitchman for Ty-D-Bol products, earning him the nickname 'Ty-D-Bol Man'. He also had a role in the film Ben Franklin in Paris. In addition to his acting career, Kaliban served as the president of the Screen Actors Guild in 1968, advocating for the rights and dignity of actors.
