Bob Mackie

Robert Gordon Mackie, born on March 24, 1939, is an American fashion designer and costumier. He is widely recognized for his work in dressing entertainment icons, including Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Cher, Bette Midler, and Barbra Streisand, among others. Mackie served as the costume designer for the entire eleven-year run of The Carol Burnett Show. His contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including nine Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, and three nominations for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
