Bob Woodward

Bob Woodward is an American investigative journalist best known for his work at The Washington Post. He started his career as a reporter in 1971 and currently holds the title of associate editor. Woodward gained widespread recognition for his role in reporting on the Watergate scandal alongside Carl Bernstein, which ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Following his work on Watergate, Woodward has continued to write books on American politics and current affairs. With 21 books to his name, 13 of which have topped best-seller lists, Woodward has become a highly respected figure in journalism. He was born in Geneva, Illinois and raised by his parents, Jane and Alfred E. Woodward, a lawyer who later became chief judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court.
