Bobbie Diane Eakes is an American actress and singer, best known for her roles as Macy Alexander on The Bold and the Beautiful and Krystal Carey on All My Children. Born in an Air Force family, she is the youngest of five daughters. Eakes was Miss Georgia 1982 and placed among the top 10 at Miss America 1983. She studied at the University of Georgia. In 1992, she married novelist and actor David Steen. Eakes started with bit roles on nighttime TV series, such as Cheers, before finding success in soap operas. In the mid-1980s, she was the lead singer of the dance-pop rock group Big Trouble, which had a hit single with "Crazy World".
