Bobby Alto, born Robert Altomare on October 30, 1938, was an American actor, comedian, and performer. Alongside Buddy Mantia, he formed the Brooklyn-based comedy duo Alto & Mantia, known for their appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Toast of the Town with Ed Sullivan. As part of the comedy team The Untouchables, he collaborated with Marvin Braverman. Alto had notable roles in films such as Love Is All There Is (1996), Crocodile Dundee (1986), Prince of the City (1981), and The Death Collector (1976). He also made a guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order in 1992 and featured in various television commercials. Alto's career extended to Broadway, where he starred in productions like 3 From Brooklyn (1992) and Lovers and Other Strangers.
