Bobby McFerrin

Robert Keith McFerrin Jr., born on March 11, 1950, is an American jazz singer and songwriter. McFerrin is widely recognized for his unique vocal techniques, which include rapid jumps in pitch, scat singing, polyphonic overtone singing, and improvisational vocal percussion. He is renowned for his solo performances and collaborations with jazz and classical artists. McFerrin achieved great success with his hit song 'Don't Worry, Be Happy,' which topped the U.S. pop charts in 1988 and won prestigious Grammy Awards in 1989. He has collaborated with notable instrumentalists such as Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, Tony Williams, and Yo-Yo Ma.
