Bobby Sherman Biography
Bobby Sherman, born Robert Cabot Sherman Jr. on July 22, 1943, is a retired American paramedic, police officer, singer, actor, and occasional songwriter. Rising to fame as a teen idol in the late 1960s and early 1970s, he achieved success with hit singles such as 'Little Woman' (1969), which sold over a million copies. In the 1970s, Sherman transitioned to a career as a paramedic and deputy sheriff, although he occasionally performed into the 1990s. He started his showbiz career in 1964 after being signed by an agent and securing a role on the ABC television show Shindig! as a regular cast member and house singer. Sherman has recorded several albums and appeared in numerous TV shows and films throughout his career.
